 Narathiwat province will host Best of Narathiwat festival in September that will coincide with a royal visit to the Thaksin Rachaniwet Palace. The traditional boat races will be held along Bang Nara River in front of the palace on September 8-10.
Meanwhile, from September 21 to 25, the Narathiwat produce fair will be held at Kanchanapisek grounds where local fruit and handicrafts unique to southern Thailand will be on sale. The special Java dove cooing contest will be held on September 24. For details, call 073-516-144, 522-411.
